Pelvic pain can be prominent in both those that are biologically male or female. The pelvic region encompasses several organs and structures which cause pain when defective. Pelvic area starts below your navel and extends throughout the region of your pelvic bone and hips. Quality and intensity of the pain can also vary from patient to patient. Pelvic pain can be a sign of a serious condition such as ectopic pregnancy, ruptured ovarian cyst, and ruptured appendix.
Sharp, intense pain on the lower right-hand side of your abdomen, may be a sign of appendicitis or a ruptured appendix.
